Our founder invented the first automated shrimp peeling machine over 70 years ago. Since then, we have been designing and building the equipment used to process seafood all over the world.

Most farm-raised shrimp sold in the US comes from Asia, where densely packed ponds, heavy use of antibiotics, and poor feed management are common.
Prime Shrimp come from Ecuador, where low-intensity farming practices and improved production technology creates a safer habitat for shrimp, one that puts less stress on the environment and gives the shrimp freedom to develop better flavor and texture without the need for antibiotics.
