Our founder invented the first automated shrimp peeling machine over 70 years ago. Since then, we have been designing and building the technology used to process seafood all over the world.

 

After decades of experience in the global seafood industry and years of research and development, we built our own state-of-the-art processing facility and reimagined the supply chain to do one thing: create the highest quality farm-raised shrimp product in the US.

Prime Shrimp come from Ecuador's advanced aquaculture ponds, where improved production technology and less-intensive farming methods create a safe habitat that puts less stress on the shrimp and the environment. They have the freedom to develop better flavor and texture without the need for antibiotics, EVER!

Prime Shrimp uses precision automation in our state-of-the-art, domestic facility to create new standards in size uniformity, hygiene, quality control, and transparency.

Most farm-raised shrimp sold in the US is peeled and processed by hand before export.  The hands-free automation in our domestic, state-of-the-art facility creates a new standard in uniformity, hygiene, quality control, and transparency.
