Ingredients

  • 12 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 pouches Prime Shrimp
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni  and the Prime Shrimp according to the package directions.
  3. Make the cheese sauce. In a large pot, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk constantly for 2-3 minutes until it turns golden to form a roux. Gradually pour in the milk while whisking continuously to prevent lumps.
  4. Stir in the cheddar, Gruyère, and Parmesan cheeses, and continue to whisk until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens. Add Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
  5. Gently fold the cooked Prime Shrimp (and sauce, if applicable) and drained macaroni into the cheese sauce, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the shrimp mac and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with extra shredded cheese if desired. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Once out of the oven, garnish the shrimp mac and cheese with fresh parsley. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
